We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Fire Safety System Design: Design and develop fire safety systems, including fire detection, suppression, and evacuation systems, in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments for buildings, facilities, and industrial processes to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Code Compliance: Ensure that all fire safety systems and designs adhere to local, national, and international fire safety codes and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to integrate fire safety measures seamlessly into the overall design and construction process.
- Inspections and Testing: Oversee the installation, inspection, and testing of fire safety systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with established standards.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, fire drills, and training programs to enhance the preparedness of occupants and emergency responders.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports related to fire safety systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in regulations to recommend and implement improvements to existing fire safety systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in fire safety engineering, with a minimum of [X] years in the field.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license and certification as a Fire Protection Specialist are preferred.
